Cab repair for all brands of truck cabs
The JOSAM cab bench consists of a rigid base which is anchored to beams in the workshop floor. Movable mounting points make it easy to mount even severely damaged cabs. The cab is then pushed and pulled into its correct horizontal position with the help of two movable hydraulic rams and special fixtures.
JOSAM is constantly manufacturing adapter sets to suit the latest cab models. Adapter sets are currently available for over sixty different cab models, including Mercedes, Iveco, Renault, Scania, Volvo, DAF, MAN, Ford and Hino.
JOSAM press/pull towers are equipped with extended hi-reach beams, a stay and other special accessories to assist in straightening and repairing cabs’ vertical frame members and roof sections.
Damage repair of higher vehicles and cabs
When you need to straighten taller vehicles and bodies, your existing JOSAM frame press equipment can be extended with towers. The press and counterstay trolleys normally used in frame straightening become the base for cab towers used for cab, coach and bus repair etc.
Cab towers are available in two versions depending on the type of installation: floor anchoring or conventional I-beam attachment.
Frame repair systems for floor beams in lightweight aluminium
The JOSAM alignment system is founded on the principle of l-beams cast into the workshop floor. Presses and other tools are anchored to the I-beams, which can be custom designed to any size or situation.
Used in conjunction with a service pit, it’s the ideal working area for straightening heavy and light trucks, trailers and buses. A great advantage of the system is that the press trolleys can be used in confined spaces. Presses and other tools can also be easily anchored to the floor rails, enabling you to carry out both horizontal and vertical repairs.
The majority of the components are manufactured from special aluminium alloy instead of steel, making them lightweight, strong and easy to handle.
This hydraulically operated system is available in 20 and 40 ton press capacity versions. The presses are on wheels and can be equipped with brackets, chain anchors, cylinder anchors and adapter kits.
